This was my first automatic watch, and this is the first watch review I ever wrote:

Pros for this watch:

-I get lots of WIS satisfaction from owning and wearing this watch. It's big and classic and I smile every time I look down at it.

-The dial is exceptionally legible. A quick glance shows me the time, and the white chrono hands are easy to pick out against the matte black dial. The luminousity is also pretty good. A big plus is that the chronograph (center) second hand is luminous. Great fun to set it in motion in the dark!

-I really like the 7750 movement. Because it winds in only one direction, it is free to spin in the other. So sometimes the rotor spins around like mad, and you can feel the torque on your wrist. It always keeps you aware that you're wearing a nice automatic watch.

-During the week I wore the watch it gained less than 30 seconds total. Pretty good accuracy, and as much as I'll ever need.

-People are generally impressed with this watch when you show them, thanks to the large size and exhibition back.

Cons:

Only one I can think of - this watch is big! I know there are a lot of big watch fans, and I love big watches myself, but it hurts me very much when I bang this watch, and it's the only one I bang all the time. During the week I added a new ding to the top of the bezel, and a nice big scuff to the bottom of the bezel. You can see the damage in the pictures below.

All in all, this watch is a great value for the money, and I enjoy wearing it very much. And even though I scuff it up a bit, it still looks good, and the way I look at it, each new scratch makes it more "mine." If you're considering one of these watches, I highly recommend it.
